Where are you located?

Hackney Wick/Fish Island near Stratford, East London.

What’s the nearest train station?

We are in easy proximity of three major stations. Our closest is Pudding Mill Lane (DLR) which is around a 10 min walk. We also have Hackney Wick (Overground) which is also a 10 minute walk. My personal favourite is Stratford which is on Central, Jubilee, Overground and Elizabeth Lines. This is a 10 minute walk around the London Stadium.

Do you have parking?

We have metered on street parking on the streets surrounding the studio. However this can get a little expensive. I’d recommend parking in Westfield Stratford, which is a 10min walk, for £8pd. We do have a loading bay, where you can drop off your gear.

What do I get when I book the studio?

For all studio bookings, you get full use of all amenities in the studio, including all furniture, lighting and content creation equipment. Refrigerated refreshments such as CBD drinks and cocktails are available at a small fee, but teas and coffees are complimentary. Downstairs we have a fabulous coffee shop called Simmos - if you need a quick bite to eat!

What are the payment terms, rescheduling and cancellation policy?

Full payment is required at the time of booking.

In the event of a cancellation, all payments made are fully refundable up until 48hrs before.

Bookings can be rescheduled up to 48hrs before, free of charge.

Is there lift access/toilet facilities?

Absolutely. We have full lift access, a private kitchenette on each floor, and spacious toilet facilities. On the top floor, we also have a full kitchen, with microwave should you need it.

Is blackout available?

By Kayleigh Studio benefits from gorgeous daylight, peaking at 2pm in the summer and 12pm in the winter. Unfortunately we do not have blackout available.

Can we record audio?

Due to the nature of being a working studio, you can sometimes hear our neighbours and the sounds of Hackney Wick. Although we are fairly quiet, we cannot guarantee pure silence for delicate recordings.

Can I access to the studio early to setup or leave later to pack down?

Setup time and pack down is included in your studio booking time, so be sure to leave sufficient time to do so. However please do check in with us, as if there are no prior bookings or bookings after, we are fairly flexible!

Is there wifi?

We have full high speed wifi.

What amenities does the studio have?

You’ll find a kitchen on the top floor and a kitchenette with a mini-fridge on our floor. Inside the studio, we have a kettle with a selection of teas and coffees, plus a variety of refreshments available to purchase. We also recommend visiting our on-site coffee shop, Simmos, located downstairs.

The studio is equipped with speakers, steamers, a clothes rail, a step ladder, full content creation equipment, and fully stocked makeup stations. For accessibility, the building has lifts, ramps, and toilets on every floor.

Do you accept walk in bookings?

Unfortunately not, but we can accept last minute bookings. Please email us if you are in need of a studio space quickly.

Will we meet Mio the Dog?

Wherever Kayleigh is, Mio follows. Sometimes Kayleigh will be working in and around the studio, so please do request if you would like the environment to be kept dog free.

Will I be alone in the studio space?

Kayleigh is often around flitting in and out. We often work behind a partition in the studio space. If you require total privacy, please let us know.
